So after nearly 5 years of ownership it was cambelt time, after much recommendation it was booked with Scott, and just want to say what a brilliant smooth experience it was. So a big thanks to Scott, for the quality of work, photos and guidance.
Along with cambelt I opted for the TTV flywheel on my Phase 2, which has transformed the car in my opinion. More responsive rpm changes, no horrific lurching when lift off throttle under high load, feels more 'urgent' acceleration wise, clutch pedal lighter. All in all a much better feel, feels more modern.
Lastly, Michelin Pilot Sports. Jeepers that's a lot of grip (having come from aged Falkens).
In total Scott oversaw the refurb of wheels and new tyres, cambelt change, TTV flywheel and pH1 clutch, windscreen replacement, MOT, Aux belt and pulleys, 4 wheel alignment, 15mm rear spacers, thermostat (finally warm heaters in winter).
