VII Car Care

Yo guys, hows it going!? Thought I'd share a few pics of her. I'd started cleaning her up Thursday, detox shampoo, foaming, iron x etc. I then gave under the bonnet a good clean, then polished her by hand with Supernatural Micro prime. It rained, so into the garage she went. So today I drove the V6 down to my work (2 minutes down the road) Gave her a dusting off & a quick Z6 wipe down ready for part 2 :approve:

Here's the results after a bacon butty, 4 Mot sit in's & a lot of banter

Oh, I decided to give her a going over with Tripple as I had a few water run marks & I'm always on the look out for a wetter look than last time :D

Then a thin coat of Desire. Whilst giving it an hour before coating I applied Waxtec's Visor to the windows :argie:, Dj Spritz applied to the alloys, Autosmart Finish to the arches, Perl on the tyres & not forgetting Dressel on the grills :argie: Also gave the back box a quick polish.

Then I applied Illusion, nice & thin. I do like this combo, very deep & certainly wet looking. Would look epic with ample coats of both, but Mot sit in's take up abit of time. Anyway, she was finished with Z8 :D [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

Now, I was going to take her straight home & in the garage. I gave in, took her for a good drive for about an hour then home :o Love it :D

Cheers :thumb:

Wow that's stunning and you can tell a lot of elbow grease went into it.

And I thought I was good when I took mine to the bozzy wash for a rub down with a grit filled sponge this morning.

Thanks guys, really want to go back to full on black now  [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Had a quote from the sprayer that does work for us on the sales cars. He's quoted pretty decently for the entire front end, rear bumper & skirts, including a crystal laquer on the skirts. I'll hopefully get it on the front end too :approve:

Won't happen for a while yet, cambelt time again come next year! Times flown. :s
