So the cars in for a quick oil and filter change, last one was only 1200 miles ago but its another stamp and invoice to the history,

dropped it off at 9am this morning, girl said it would be ready today at 30, i asked for the headlights adjusted when it was in cause dipped beam is farrrrr too low and also could they do a pre- MOT as its due in january,

just after i got home the phone went, it was kerry from the service dept, saying they can just do a proper MOT when its in if i wanted, so i agreed, she also updated me that they had just started work on it and they were being particularly careful on it :approve: Then she said "what a lovely car that is, its hard to believe its over 8 years old"

I will update later once its back but all looks great so far, they also have strict instructions not to wash or hoover the car which was clearly noted on the job sheet as well

£99 for the service, special deal means they throw in a years renault roadside assist with it, :race:

i presume around £50 for the MOT and maybe a small charge to adjust the lights,

Just had them on the phone, definately great communication from renault, :approve:

Service all done, one front tyre has failed the MOT, this was a job i had to do imminently anyways, but apparently there was a cut on the inside edge [smilie=icon_eek.gif] So they are currently trying to get a price on some 225/35 pilot sport 3's

he was asking about cambelts etc though its not due till 2013 he said they currently have a promotion for the job for £880 all in, very resonable i thought for any owners who want the job done!

yeah im great mate, looking forwards to Xmas, need to try and have a meet up sometime in the new year?!

Tyres worked out at £194 each all in, car won't be back till tomorrow as the tyres werent in stock, service manager said it will be locked inside workshop all night, he couldnt love the car enough!!

Left strict instructions to be careful with the wheels when the tyre spot change them,

Expecting the total bill to be around 600, ouch!

So just to summarise :

5 out of 5 for benfield in Carlisle,

They were über careful with my car, could really see that I was a mega fussy owner and kept the car inside the workshop the whole time, even overnight while waiting on the tyres to arrive, car never saw rain while with them and came back unwashed and untouched as requested,

All the staff genuinely loved the car, even the service girls, who couldn't believe the prices quoted for rear pads (no thanks) lol and the 225/35 tyres look a perfect match for the old 205/40's

Headlights are now raised as requested and spot on,

Bill was £533 inc vat for tyres service and mot,

Good to know there is still some good dealers out there after hearing some horror stories,
