Superchips look good on the Mk1 (no plots for the Mk2!)

13BHP and 46NM coming in (in both cases) much earlier in the rev range. Nice!

If the mk2 is similar it looks good for £300! Hopefully the dastek is similar.

Even though there are increases by using the Superchip, I'm still a little bit miffed why standard MK1's are only doing 215-225 bhp.

Mines is 224, so it was probably only 215 before getting chipped.

In truth it doesn't matter what Renault claim as figures, the 'on the road' performance stats are usually slightly better than the book figures, especially with acceleration.

Roll on the stats for the dastek on a Mk2 V6!

I've got my Fingers crossed for 270BHP(6% extra), and a fat lump of extra torque low down!

Remember Peter, you might not be starting from 255! Scott had a Mk2 dynoed recently with a TWR back box and it made 250!

C'mon most people never even get their modded cars tested and asume a new backbox will give them an extra 10bhp on a 1.4 corsa! :lol:

Anyway i like the look of the way the torque comes in upto 500rpm earlier!

i have a piperX and a backbox so would be interested in seeing if these made any gains at all and a dastek could be mapped to the filter etc..

I have an induction kit fitted (BMC CDA) so would also be interested to see what that has done. I bet its made no difference..... :roll: ... Except sounding LOVELY!

also i have de cat would that effect it and would it clear the lambo sencor faults i keep getting~?

loopee..how loud is it de-catted?

was tempted to opt for the full K-tec system and de-cats in the future..but i dont want it to be doing my head in!! been there n done that with my old saxo vtr!!

also..loopee i think you need a lambda sleeve to slot the sensors into when its de-catted??
