Auxillary belt kit prices

One of my aux belt tensioners/pullys is starting to squeak a bit when its cold so i recon i'll need to replace one of them shorty.. the aux belt is only a year old but i might as well do the full lot at the same time again for the price of a belt, how much should i expect a decent place to charge labour wise if i supply the parts...

and how much do renault charge for the full kit? I can get INA and FAG bearings and continental belts through work so i'll see how the prices compare!

I keep in stock full cambelt kits o.e spec for £185.00 :)

about 220 from renault, i had to get a genuine kit for mine while i was doing the cambelt, was just going to change the belt but one of tensioners or pulleys cant remeber which was grunbling a bit so thought it was too risky too leave it, can get acurate price later when i find receipt if you want. was'nt alot in the kit so was a bit of a rip off, they had them in stock at blackpool. not sure on changing it my engine was out when i had mine done could be a bit of a tricky fiddly job when evrythings in place, are you a long way off next cambelt change? might be worth waiting doing them together? what would happen if you left it and it broke? would'nt do any damage to engine would it? hope this helps :approve:

I had my cambelt kit + pump + aux belt done just over a year ago, like a muppet though i decided against the aux belt kit as i had to budget for two back tyres at the same time!

Well i can get a aux belt + tensioner +tensioner pully + belt damper for Just over £100 :) just need a fitting price now.

Ermm i dunno what damage it would cause if a pully failed to be honest, probably best to avoid it though i think! Might give the pully a splash of WD40 see if its just dried out as the car spent a month sat on axle stands and i did steam clean all the arches/exhaust ect so thats bound to have got a drenching too..
