Left stalk - end control is auto, off and on.

You ave probably turned it by mistake.

Peter :D

I can't find it. All I can see is the lights – off, side lights, main beam. And then further in the fogs?

I do use the auto light tbh but i think what you do is....

Switch ignition one turn then switch side lights on and off twice.then repeat to turn auto lights off.

have a look in the manual for correct procedure :D

Its the first position of the end twist control of the left stalk. Twist fully clockwise I think.

Not got my Vee at the mo so can't tell you any more.

wideboy is correct about the procedure ... you should hear a beep when you toggle the setting.

Personally I have mine turned off, since otherwise the headlights fire up everytime I start the car or go to park it in my garage.

According to the workshop manual, the vee has follow me home headlights, ie they stay on for a period of time after turning the ignition off to let you see what your doing.

Anybody actually used them??

AUTOMATIC VEHICLE LIGHTS ("Follow me home" function)
These vehicles are fitted with dipped headlights that come on automatically (when the engine is switched off). This
function operates for 30-second periods and only when the ignition is switched off.
Activation
It is switched on with the lighting stalk:
 switch off the ignition,
turn on the main beam headlights twice using the stalk,
 the instrument panel beeps,
the lights will be power for 30 seconds,
another 30 seconds are added each time the main beam headlights are turned on with the stalk.
