This is another executive 'super saloon' that come in from the Auto Finesse Authorised Detailer Network for some much needed protection.
I'll jump straight into this one.
The car on arrival.

Wheels up first. I tried out a Sonax wheel cleaner which is pretty handy.

The car was pre-soaked with Avalanche while all the tight spots were cleaned using Verso and Envy brushes.
No visible protection. There was a Life Shine sticker in the windscreen...

The car was washed using the 2 bucket method and Lather.
There was no tar spots surprisingly so the car was treated with Iron Out, rinsed and clayed.
The car was re-washed, rinsed and dried with the best towel around.

The wheels were sealed using Mint Rims and tyres dressing using Tyre Creme'.
It rained as soon as I finished the interior :( But at least it shows the protection working.

STRIPES ! Again ! they look superb !

I really, really like the seats on those.

Is it worth using IronX/Iron away/Horse Wee on a car that has wax on it ? will it strip the wax ?

The seats are amazing, aren't they. I'm currently looking up the prices of a kidney on the black market so I can buy a set.
The level of standard seats has definitely risen in the last 5 years.

Iron fallout removers should ideally be used before a car has been waxed. They're a preparation product so the real benefit of them will come from the decontamination process.
Some manufacturers claim their product id wax safe but I imagine it will degrade the wax to some degree.
If you were looking to use one of these products, I'd say to wait and do it when you next want to wax the car and start from scratch - wash, fallout remover, tar remover, clay, paint cleanser/polish, then wax.

I will do that car again this weekend I think. I can use my mega towel ! :)

You certainly seem to do a great job and have a love (condition :)) with the details

I love the idea of doing a clean of this level with all the gear but always the last thing

Is it ok to ask what a full proper clean like this costs? Definitely something I would look at in the future as time always short with the kids

Keep up the good work

DG
