I just jumped at the chance of doing this beuty! She belongs to a guy that fly's up the airfield on a regular basis, I have always dreweled when its driven by! So saturday morning he dropped her off in our car park & handed me the keys saying 'take her for a spin around the airfield if you like' .... And I did!!! It was awesome!

Anyway, on with the detail. I was expecting her to need correction but was pleasantly surprised when I found the paintwork In very good condition. I took my time on her as I didn't need to give her back until Monday morning. It was heaven!

Total time = 16 Hours

Snow foam + Sour Power Mix applied to vehicle
Wheels cleaned with Smartwheels & variouse brushes
Tyres/arches cleaned with G101
Shuts/badges G01
Wash 1bm & Capro wash mitt & DJ m'fibre sponge
Tardis applied & wiped with a mf
Rinsed
Clayed BS & Megs bar
Snow Foam
Wash
Dried with Chemical Guys towels
Taped up
Engine bay cleaned with mf's & G101/Dressed with 303
Engine rear window cleaned with Plexus (Thanks to Maggi133!)
PT readings taken
DJ Lime Prime via Chicago Rotary LC polishing pad & 3m Polishing Spot pad
Rear Lights corrected, 3m green spot pad & megs 105
Z2 applied via mf app
Door shuts Prime Strong'd/ 303 on plastics
Windows cleaned with DJ Menthol
Interior wiped down, pedals G101 & Hoovered
Alloy faces z2'd & arches - Bare Bones applied
1st coat of SN Wax applied
Windows given the Nanolex Urban Glass Kit treatment - Awesome stuff!!!
Exhaust polished - Autosol
Tyres dressed - Wolfs
2nd coat of SN Wax applied
All external plastics treated with SN Trim Sealant
Final wipe down with Z8
Constant wipe downs to keep the dust off till 3pm when he picked her up!

The owner was absolutely delighted with her! I enjoyed every minute!

Because it's the only replacement car I would have, but I certainly don't have room for.

Not that fast though. I remember someone couldn't shake me off following him on a landing strip ;)

Nice quirky bits and tons of £options£ for me to pick. ;)

You should borrow it again say in a couple of months, and use it as a customer courtesy car. :)

Mate, it would be more like 14 hours driving and 2 days cleaning with our Dawn! But well worth it! You should set up in business Dawn!

Dawn, what polish/was would you reconmend for Liquid yellow to really bring out the colour this summer? [smilie=thanks.gif]
