On a side note, you don't need to cut open collector box to get cats out. Just remove the adjustable pipe and a piece of 1/2" bar does the trick
No welding required :approve:

I've made contact with the man but he seems a bit strange, he didnt want it collected unless i was using money he wouldn't accept paypal but then said about posting the exhaust

i thought it was strange too as its listed as pick up only but didnt want me to go to his house to get it for you,sounded dodgy to me.

His feedback is 90 but he hasn't sold anything since 2008.

He's accepted an offer including postage, i've used paypal so fingers crossed. He's also said hes using his girlfriends account. Hopefully this will come and make a good cheap inbetween exhaust before i start looking at full system. (i can get free ear defenders from work so should be ok on the motorway)

:rofl: Sorry about that I'm planning to use SG motorsports to design a system like you said, but im assuming thats going to run into the thousands and i haven't got that money at the moment (i wasn't aloud to dip into her wedding fund) do you know roughly how much that would be,anyway this one came up and i got a really good deal so thought it would be a great way of getting more noise for the mean time and then i should still be able to sell it on once i've got the money for the full system

Another quick question probably stupid but to be honest im not very technical. What are the full manifolds whats different from standard ones and were they from torque tecnics as well.

Turned out to be a genuine seller recieved the exhaust and have now fitted along with new clamps from rpd. I see what they say about the noise now as I have to drive with the windows open to let some of the sound out

I know remember mine resonating at certain revs. Do you like it?

Decatting collector may relieve some of the boom.

yeah im pleased with the noise also looks better than the standard one once its on the car. definately good for the price altough to be honest i was a bit disappointed with the finish i would have been really disappointed if i would have bought it new. Im going to remove the collector box are there any off the shelf parts for this or do you have to get these manufactured as i want to keep the collector.

Depends Brad. I got some pipes made up to replace it but some people have decatted the collector box. I have a spare mk1 collector.
