anyone changed mk2 exhaust

hi guys- i have a mk2 v6 and just wondered if anyone has changed the standard backbox? i know the mk1 had a poor system so a few have had theirs changed but dont know if the mk2 system is already very good and is worth say fitting a k-tec backbox. i read somewhere that renault charge £900 for a mk2 backbox.
so any info of what i should do would be welcome.

i guess im just after a louder deeper growl that i currently get.

The mk2 system is stainless steel. The mk1 was mild steel, and are looking very untidy now, hence most mk1 owners ditching them for either the renault stainless version (which was an option on the mk1 and is the version I have), or something like the K-Tec one, which I know ClarkieV6 swears by on his mk1.

Scott's now doing a Janspeed exhaust (http://www.renaultcliov6.com/engines.htm), else others have some pretty bespoke metalwork going on at the back!

k-tec very good on mine...not sure if any good on mk2.

I used to have this one (now with BigChris) and V6Max has one on his stripped track V6.

what ill do is fit the bmc induction kit first and see how the car sounds with that on, it maybe be enough, if not ill look into getting a custom backbox..what i dont want to do though id get after make backbox like k-tec and find out that the renault stainless steel one is actually a better exhaust. not many or any one has seem to have changed their backbox in a mk2 v6.
