Hello,
I'm having a bit of trouble trying to find the right guide/slider bolt for the front calipers.
They're just come back from Biggred, who have supplied the front calipers with 1 standard guide bolt measuring approx. 58.5mm length x 10.5mm diameter and then 1 bolt that has a rubber sleeve that pushes over the shaft. This is the anti-vibration bolt type I guess, something I've not seen before on other calipers. They have given two sizes for this bolt though.
- Does anyone know the right size for the slider bolt? and,
- Do you recommend using the anti-vibration bolts or fitting the standard bolt?
The ones that were supplied are too wide, so there is no smooth free movement - the pads grind against the disc.
Also, is there a sequence to bleeding the calipers, front to back, left to right for example?
My system works fine, with brake fluid coming from the front calipers screws but the at the rear it's very slow if not non-existent...
Thanks in advance.
