Anti-Roll Bar Bolts

G

Guest

After checking underneath the car earlier i discovered that the drivers side anti-roll bar is not attached! and that it has snapped at the bolt.

Im hoping i can get mould grips to the bit stuck in and remove it and replace it with a new bolt, i might aswell replace both sides while im at it, can anyone tell me what size the bolts are?

Also with it not connected could this affect the straight line driving?

ah thanks, it seems the listing is only for 1 item? will i have to purchase the 2? are these easy to fit?

LOL , i cant remember what size, they might be 6mm, dont forget to use a washer too!

best thing to get hold of is some high tensile stainless bolts, think they are m8 iirc and get longer ones, makes it a fuck of a lot easier to fit then. take a std bolt along with you to a hardware place or something and just have a nosey till u find one that looks good 8)

my powerflex kit came with longer bolts, so all the parts of the bush and the nut all go on easily then just do the bolt up to compress the bush fully.

Ah man i purchased the ones from ebay before you posted this, can i still get those bolts your talking about? and use the bushes?

I used pipe pliers, mole grips pry bars, crow bars and lots of sweating bleeding and swearing but got there in the end! :P
