An eventful day!

Eventful day!

Car was taken down to Cobra in Telford for the seat repair, their customer service is unbeatable.

Also unbeatable is the stupidity of the clown who crammed me up the arse at a set of traffic lights Centre section of the rear bumper is well cracked and the tailgate has more than a few dents. Exhaust tips now face down a bit but that will only be bent brackets.

Spoke to Scott and he said to run it down to him and he'll do an estimate for repairs. He thought the wrap helped saved the bumper as, although it cracked, it held all the bits in place.

Classic Line insurance were excellent to deal with.

Good to hear it’s nothing too serious & no one was hurt!

Glad to see you’ve got a plan to sort it out already.

Sorry to hear that mate. Hopefully with Scotts help, getting it back to its previous beauty will be relatively painless.

Clown, thats an understatement, its not like the car doesn’t stand out.
Good to hear it will get sorted and as long as you not suffering any side effects.

Car is now down with Scott so it's in good hands :approve:

Back end could possibly look a little different when it reappears.

Now 5 days since the car got hit.

So far have had 4 calls and 3 letters offering me a hire car and asking if I have a personal injury due to the accident.

No wonder insurance costs are always on the up.

After 4 months it's back home, done, dusted and slightly different!

Bit of a change on the back end that I'd been toying with for a while, once it was in bits it was the time to do it.

Although I can't use it it's still good to have it back in the garage. A few decal changes e.g tyre branding has gone from the car as have 2 sets of Cromos, 1 (silver) fitted with Michelins and the other (yellow) with Yokohamas so, no tyre branding on the car means I can change the wheels whenever I fancy. Also a nod to Scott as, with the way he pulled all of this together, he warrants it.
