After selling my V6 in August 2016 due to a house purchase, I'd regretted it ever since and been on the look out for another but months of scouring Pistonheads/Autotrader etc, there have not been many for sale. I'd been chatting with Scott throughout and just when i'd given up hope, a phone call last week from him changed all that.
Phase 2, Number 107 was looking for a new home. Some of you may know the car on here, it's got a non-standard interior but upon seeing it in the flesh, it's actually so much better than i was initially concerned about so it wasn't going to put me off.
The best thing though, the car had only done 5116 miles and is like new. It's never been out in the wet and is absolutely immaculate. The underside, engine bay, suspension arms etc are all like new and it barely looks used. The car has always been garaged and under a cover so the paint work is like new and not a mark on it either. As Scott attested too when he phoned me, it's probably one of the best condition cars around which is what i wanted.
I picked the car up yesterday and have now stored it away for the winter. The plan will be to get the interior back to standard in time and although some of you won't be too happy, I won't be looking to add many miles to it but I'll have enjoyment out of having the car and keeping it in top condition. It was great being back behind the wheel of a Vee again, i forgot just how much attention it gets and will never tire of catching a glimpse of the car in a window reflection!
I'll get some pics up shortly, but very excited to be back and feel very lucky to have found such a great car [smilie=yay.gif]

Welcome back Chopper :salut:

I’m in the same situation as you as I don’t use mine but hey what ever makes your happy ;)

They are addictive these Vees aren't they ;)
I love the interior on this car as I am a fan of the diamond quilt on an Aston or Bentley. OK so maybe not so suitable on a Vee but really is the standard drab plastic interior anything to write home about? I can imagine it is a bit OTT with the headlining done as well but it must have cost at least £5k to £10k. I'd love to see it and I think you're mad if you change it back to the standard dull interior. I'd love to see it :)

Welcome back....

Remember seeing [v6plaque]107[/v6plaque] on sale (PH as I recall), and being discussed on here - the interior is certainly unique.

Thanks GPH, yep that's the interior, the pics on my phone aren't great so was going to try and get some better ones this weekend of the interior. Appreciate it won't be to everyone's taste but it's certainly not half as bad in the flesh and it really does brighten up the cabin and the interiors were never their strong points! The seats are great though, but in time i will return it to standard, but for the moment i can live with it!
There are receipts for just over £8k worth of work to the interior [smilie=icon_eek.gif] - apparently the guy wanted it to resemble his Bentley he had at the time. Not something i would have spent my pennies on, but each to their own.
These are certainly very addictive and i did always promise myself i would have another again one day and the mileage and condition of this one was just to good to turn down because the interior is non standard...

Theres some great photos of the car here

I remember Scott showing me the underside of the car, it was exceptionally clean.

Nice purchase!!
