Kett Of the black of the flocking in general?

I think I saw that ‘black Ambla interior thread’ and had my head turned.

My Vee already has Black/Silver Ambla Recaro CS seats and black Ambla door cards. I felt the dash & engine covers need to match. Hence the existing flocked dash doesn’t feature in my plans...

Got ya....thanks.

Found some of those details Brian:

These are my flocked engine covers. They were ‘cut’ to accommodate the roll cage.

This was Danny’s project in Ambla. : )
Coolaslife was his username.

^^^Did the work.

Thank you mate.

Strangely enough I was just reading your thread and spotted it in there.

Those mirrors look nice :approve:

Only a crappy phone pic but delighted with how it now sits, on its way into its second home for a few bits to be done.

First bit done, mirrors done in the same grey as the base wrap, looks much better.

Have a mate who tends to be a bit useful with a camera.

Down at Scotts yesterday for a service and to drop the exhaust set up off.

It'll be going on as soon as he can get it booked in along with a new starter motor and a new air-con pump and, of all things, a PH2 gearbox :approve:

Perfect subtle mods. I think you’ll really notice the benefits of that Ph2 box.

Pics look fantastic - that’s some talent!

Spoke to Scott last night and it's booked in for 1st October.

The pics shown on here appear to have reduced definition, the ones the guy sent to me are as sharp as a needle!

Every time I see your updates my jaw drops. Looks absolutely amazing [emoji1305][emoji1303]

Nice upgrades Brian! Would love to have a spin in it sometime!

Maybe the thread needs to re-titled every time you inch closer to your final game plan?

: )

Am I supposed to have a final game plan?

You'd be welcome for a run out any time.

That old exhaust note sounds very familiar Brian! You're absolutely right that on a light throttle you can't really notice any difference, which is very handy when passing Police cars...slowly.

Put your foot down in the tunnel and brake lights come on in front of you as folks wonder what the hell is going on!

Love the car, and that exhaust makes it.

Thanks Mark,

Always thought that with the way the car now looks and sits it needed something doing with the exhaust.

Despite opinion on here I had no issue with the Quicksilver apart from the fact I thought the car needed something a little more aggressive sounding. A while ago now a full Orbisoud Trophy system appeared on ebay, spoke to Scott about it and with him telling me it involved a great deal of work to fit I decided against it.

Even though the Janspeed might make little kids cry and old ladies drop their shopping, I love it and feel it suits the car 100%......never been keen on the neighbours anyhow.

I think I'm turning into an OAP version of a chav :race:

Couple of pics that have turned up from a meeting at Donington Park last Sunday.
