Acoustic valve...

Has anyone removed the acoustic valve on their Vee?

Apparently it gives a much better sound even with the standard airbox.....

what acoustic valve ?? there aint one is there? all i see is box.... expansion tunnel... butterfly valve ??

Not sure. My old 172 Cup had one and my 197 has one (had one). Maybe the V doesn't.....does anyone know for sure?

Doesn't exist on the vee..And it didn't make any difference to noise on the 1*2's...Just clears a gap for a better CAF.

Well it sure made my 197 sound like it has an induction kit.....
