Numbers are crazy! Mars red number 10 is a 54 plate, mine is a 53 plate and number 34 haha

I'm with Duncan on this one...

Suits the car perfectly. Somewhat understated, and a bit more sophisticated than some other colours I could mention. Mars not being one of them though.. ;)

Numbers are a bit all over the place, but if you bare in mind how many of these cars sat in showrooms for months on end as a dealers 'Show Piece' to draw punters in, before finally being sold and registered, its hardly surprising.

Not the best angle or photo to view the colour at its best really.

Also, those wheels look big!

Completely agree this is why the numbers are all over the show  it wouldn't suprise me if some even sat in a showroom for 12 months [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

The liquid brigade

I'd like to distance myself from this

Your all amateurs, petrol blue FTW!

You have a point..... would LOVE to see one of the Petrol Blue cars..

Im telling you they dont exist!!

Seriously, i wonder if it is an error in translation or something and the cars are illiad. Aside from that table of sales data, theres not once ounce of detail that ive seen to prove they were made.

The only chance of their existance is if hey were brought and tucked straight into a collection and havent seen sunlight since!

ps, i hope im wrong!!!!

My heart tells me they exist..

LOL - You probably still believe in Father Christmas and the Loch Ness monster though Shaun [smilie=icon_eek.gif] despite the fact that you'll have seen neither

Or the perceived lack of detail and Higher price could confirm the seller didn't have the heart to sell? Could have just been an advert to satisfy a wife lol

Only one way to find out.

I was offered it for 19k but it needs a cambelt change so I declined

Interesting. Saw the auction had ended, like you say may be he decided to keep it in the end. It worries me that he hasn't had the belt done though...
