Acid yellow for sale £20,000

Chris how frequent do these come up? I doubt that when you're ready next year another will be kicking around . . . .

Could go halfs ;) It would be a bright and intersting storage space with my LY

Still think Illiad, Lunar and Mars suit the car best imho

Obviously colour blind

I waited about a year for my first one to come up for sale. I know it's a solid investment & I know I will be kicking myself if I don't go for it, but struggling to justify a 20k toy that will only be used a couple of times a year.

I thought Acid was a shit colour and the "I.D" would sway me either. Then I see Carl Chambers car in the sun over at France. WOW! Most Ph2 owners tend to wrap their cars up and only get them out on sunny days so it makes perfect sense to have a colour that looks pretty average in the rain yet utterly fantastic in the sun. I for one LOVE acid now. Infact its probably the only colour I would sit around waiting for to turn up if I wanted a Ph2.

Good price...

Don't understand why people get so hung up over ID colours....Acid yellow is one of my least favourite colours for the vee, couldn't give a monkeys if it's rare.

I guess most V6 owners like the fact it's rare, so a rarity within a rarity gets people's stalks on.

It's probably the least pleasant colour but... I still would if I had the cash. I don't really know what that says about me other than I'm a tit.

IMHO the interesting thing about Acid Yellow is that the light makes all the difference, on a sunny day the colour is immense and very striking but on a dull day it looks a bit bland ... Liquid has a more all round consistency but it's just a bit garish for me - only because the car is enough of a statement as it is and the Liquid is soo out there (a good things for most) ... this is why I do like Acid Yellow as an ID colour ... a little more understated overall but comes alive in bright weather ...

Was waiting how long it would take liquid to get drawn in to this....... :) liquid isn't an over stated colour on these cars at all. It complements the car brilliantly and looks so different in many different lights. Renault sport uses liquid for most of its promo and race cars so they can't be far wrong..... :salut: I for one think its great and spent a long time pondering which I'd colour to get a few years ago and liquid ticked all the boxes.
Lots of love,
The liquid brigade :approve: :race:
Anyway, back to acid.

Just found this....

The Visual and Touch Leather Packs cost £750 and £1,750 respectively, with customers able to save £200 by buying the two packs together for £2,300. The Complete Leather Pack costs £3,900 and each of the Special Paint colours are £1,150.

Liquid > ALL.

Acid- Looked epic, but glad I sold it in the end..........

In YOUR opinion ;)

In MY opinion, LY would be my last choice. As much as I may like the car/colour combo to look at, at shows. But not over any other colour.. I just couldnt live with it. Or any other bright yellow car for that matter.

Acid is an awesome colour... Its more of a GREEN than a yellow in most lights. The tricks it plays when the sun is on it is incredible. No wonder it was the first colour chosen for the pace/safety cars by RUK. Agreed.. it was later replaced by LY.. for good reason. LY is a very stricking.. in your face colour. Perfect for marketing, as it just cant be ignored. Just not my cup of tea. Sorry Liquid owners. :salut:

My opinion is almost completely different to yours lol... Moonlight shouldn't even belong on a Vee it's a horrid colour, lunar would be a close second to mars red and I would probably move black gold down the order a bit too
