sometimes when i start the car the abs light will not go out and then other times it will go out and then come on again and then stay on once ive hit about 30mph.....also i have really bad squealing brakes when i come to brake....not sure whats wrong here, could it be the sensors
ok guys thanks for the advice....now once i have the wheel of where will i find the sensors as i have no idea what to look for, also are the haynes manuals on ebay..do they cover the late ph2 turbo model as i need to get one
Ivan, whip the wheels off and look at the calip, the sensors are slotted into the caliper using a single torx scre (if i remember correctly) - whip them out and give them a clean.

APMSL.....if you really reckon you can 'whip' them out then you've got another think coming!!! :075: :075: They will be seized in solid & removing them will only result in breaking them!!! :blaaa: :blaaa:
The sensors are magnetic pickups so how the hell are them being dirty going to affect how they work???? - theres only a gap of about 5mm between them & the targets anyway!!!!
Like I said earlier - CLEAN THE ABS TARGET RINGS with a wire brush!!!!
