abs light

R19 RSI Cab - abs light comes on after approx 1 mile, brakes work OK, it's got through last 2 MOT's OK although the light was also coming on after 1 mile at these times. I have another MOT booked for next couple of weeks, just wondered if anyone has any info on the abs, what could be causing this and any idea of costs (trying to obtain info prior to MOT just in case!).

1 or more wheel sensor cruddy

or a knackered computer board on top of the ABS solenoid unit. Happens as it is directly under the coolant tank and it tends to get a bath when careless people top up.

yeah, i've seen this on a citroen zx which had the same bosch abs unit as the 19.. light was on, but abs worked fine.. exchanged the abs computer board as neal mentions, and it went away..
