ABS Light

Hello all.

I fitted my new pads and discs to the front of the Vee last night and all went relatively smoothly. Took it out for a wee spin and noticed the ABS light was on.

I'm thinking one of the wires may have come loose from the sender? Brakes seemed to be working great (obviously i didn't stamp on them or anything so couldn't test to see if the ABS would actually trigger).

Any ideas if its not simple sender issue?

Not sure about any sender and I can't see a mention of pad wear indicators or senders. Have you lost any brake fluid from the reservoir maybe?

most likely crap on the sensor. it faces a toothed ring and can be prone to fouliing up. give it a squirt with brake cleaner and wipe all the dirt off

Oops, meant to post about this :)

Got it all sorted, there was gunk on the toothed ring, I got the chaps to clean it up when it was in for its service last week :)
