Aberdeen Habour Pictures

Cheers Ryan...Will be alot neater next year, fitters made a bit of a mess of the surrounds...but they're a motorsport specialist not a coach trimmer.

I have fallen in love with the Mars. Sell it to me!?

Illiad looks great, loving the cage Ali :)

As they say "everything has a price", let the money talk. ;)

As I work in the trade, I obviously expect it for trade value ;)

Would what the price be to prise it away from you and bring it down south? Pm me :)

Love the Roll-Cage...............guessing the fitment would have been made easier if it didn't have the diagonal.

Is it a Bolt-In or a Welded installation ?

Tempted to punt mine for a Mars red too :)

Hey Ali,

So I have a pretty good idea how the Roll-Cage bolts to the rear suspension top plates - just wondering how it fits to the floor ?

Is it just a case of drilling the floor and bolting, or is it more complex than that ?

Other than neatness I don't consider that an issues? :S

But regardless, it is drilled into and through a welded platform under the rear carpets.

I only mention it as I thought it would be an issue as on a few speed bumps ect I can hear my plastic under try skiff so though with the bolts/nuts down so low underneath they might catch? :s

Looks a good bit of kit tho, do they do a weld in version (don't mean the anchor plates)?

Been round the ring with zero scrape, even at my ride hight.

I don't believe so, but you could easy weld it in for a more perminant solution.

Have you tried a speed bump tho, god knows there's plenty in Aberdeen! :(

Have seen ure lap vids, looks good but there's plenty track cars that can do the ring without scrape but a speed bump would help them shed a few more lb's.

Am not taking anything away from you or ure car if it comes across that way am just wondering.

I avoid speed bumps, as I imagine most probably do!

My undertray is bowed from when it was very low! So it does rub here and there. New one will go on next year! Should solve that issue.

Thanks Alex! Hope you're well!

Hi Ali,
Everything is good with me. Still keep in touch with ColinG, to ensure he is looking after my baby properly ;) ;)

Hope you're good mate. Will keep an eye out for the next meet and come along if i'm home.

Alex

Hope you enjoy it Ryan! Am sure I will miss it soon. :(

Get Dawn to give it a going over as she told me she would love to do a mars.

Tell Shaun to get you a new set of disks too, he was there to find faults. Only joking mate, did you check the tyre pressures yet?
