A Vee Is For Life

I normally subscribe to "never say never" but I think in this instance I can safely be added to this list. Had a wobble a couple of years ago, sold up, instant regret and bought it back a short time later (cheers Ed!).

Keeper.

Lolz, I'm glad you're still smitten with your car :)

I'm very fond of my latest Vee, I'd have to think long and hard before letting it go.

I've had mine since new, and have no intention of letting it go anytime soon. I'm finally about to give in to the need for a 2nd car tho', since will only a couple more years before my eldest is driving, and having a bigger second car (in addition to missus' 7 seater) will make the ever more involved ferrying various child to various places that bit easier. Also means I might drive a bit more on business, since currently I almost always train it since I avoid business miles on the Vee like the plague. Small cheap low insurance diesel to be decided upon.

I've got 2 and I'm guessing only one can realistically be a 'lifer'...

Ditto, but that will be an easy choice..............

EDIT: As more time passes the more difficult a choice it will become

No plans to sell mine either, have had it nearly 6 years and still absolutely love it to bits and enjoy every single drive. I hope i never "have" to sell it, I know needs change but I'll never sell it because I'm bored or want something else to replace it, there really is nothing else like it and I actually think they're going to start appreciating in a few years as less and less good ones come on to the market...

Id love to keep mine forever, ...........................................................................

But, i couldn't say i'll never sell.

Can i say that i am a lifer and clio v6s run in my blood, but im not in the "will never sell" camp as i might...to get another one!
:race:

This..... in a nut shell... I'd really love to be able to own 2. One for driving and not worrying about piling the miles on, and one for just looking at. :primer: 8)

I just think it will be ace (zoom on 40 years) when many of us are in our 70s and are still having meets!!! :) pass the biscuits :salut:

MrBlueSky is part of the family - never sell. This whole discussion raises a question I've been agonizing over recently. When does that special car become a lifer. All the more agonizing this weekend as I have just put my old Williams (No91) on e-bay. Owned it for years and never thought I'd sell it - but it needs a bit of work. Had a fantastic drive in the Vee last night so easing the blow.
