Just something I have always thought about. Be nice to see a list of people who will never sell their vee.

I've wanted one for so long I can't envisage myself selling it, but you never know what's round the corner. I use mine everyday and hopefully can afford another cheaper car next year so it can become my weekend treat, but at the minute I can't not drive it, love it.

To summarise - I want to keep it

Id love to keep mine forever, i think ownership will only become more interesting and querky as time goes on and it would be great to hand the car down should i have be lucky enough to have some offspring.

But, i couldn't say i'll never sell.

I'd love to own an illiad phase one or an ultra mint iceberg. I'd also like to own a phase 2 at some point, whether its along side a phase 1 or a replacement for it...depends on how well life works out for me. If the right offer came along from someone wanting my car i would consider it and not flat our refuse as i would enjoy the hunt of finding a new one!

As far as i'm concerned my vee would be valued at the lower end of the market; given the mileage and mods, so it's worth far more to me than someone else!

Like Duncan if an illiad blue ph1 came up for sale regardless of condition I would definatly consider selling mine. Until that point mine won't be going anywhere. Unlike many owners I had nothing but sh1t with my car from the start yet for some reason I could never see it go. I went through bloody hell and back with it and I can honestly say it drove perfectly the last time I took the ol' girl out for a blast. What I've put in I always got out. Its been a love hate ownership but a great one.

This week I will never sell it.
If it doesn't get much use over the fair weather times in 2013 then it will be up for sale or sold this time next year.
All me keeping it and not driving it is doing is depriving someone who will get real use out of it.
These cars must be driven and I am currently failing mine!

I won't be changing my mind again - it's being kept, getting MOT'd, new discs and pads fitted, tyres all round and into hibernation (with the odd winter blast) ready for a glorious British summertime of action........

As I said this week it is the intention, but I have to use the bloody thing.
Done less than 400 miles in the last 14 months.
My intention is that the limited use doesn't continue, but if it does then I'll definitely shift it.
Hopefully it won't come to that!!!!............

I think if I can use it for a couple of thousand miles a year it will merit having it.
