Looks very clean Pete, really nice. Persoanally not to keep on the plates having GB on the side though, replaced my 182 with standard plain plates and it made a nice difference.

Look clean, had mine re-gassed 3 weeks ago. Your car makes me want a bumper re-spray, has yours been done?

Cheers guys!

These BG's are a bugger to get right as you all probably know.. Ive spent alot of polishing/cleaning hrs on the car now, so just really glad its started to show. Plan to have her tip-top for Bromley show in June and am looking forward to meeting people. Good weather please :race:

Had the bumper resprayed a month ago and they (Beautiful Bodys NorthFleet) did a pukka job, but annoyingly I scraped the bottom edge when leaving BrandsHatch [smilie=icon_aaargh.gif]weekend gone. So shes hopefully back to the paint shop next week to correct. Never again will I attempt to drive over grass that I 'think' is flat..

Well worth the air-con re-gas if anyone is considering it, very cheap. Before it was done we tested the lowest temp and it was 15 degree's, its now down to 5 degrees. I am hoping it will keep the heat back come the warmer months.

Austin - Think I agree with you re the plates, but typically just bought these to replace the UK GTI dealer plates. Would really like to sort out re-trimming the posts and headliner..Sure you dont fancy a weekend trip to Kent to do a few Kent/SE Vee's, sure people would be up for it? I also have a couple of Renault garages that may act as a base for you?

Again thank you all for the comments

Thats something that i would be up for, obviously it would need to be aranged before hand in terms of getting a deffinate number to warrant the long travel down. The fact you have a garage meaning id have space to work in is ideal making it a deffinate possibility.

Ive got a spare headliner here waiting to be trimmed, il be doing this in the garden due to not having space in the garage and the rain is stopping me, very anoying!
Ive just took delivery of some new glue today so have just been in the garage doing a few small parts, i need to finish them but so far very impressed with this glue. Hopefully engine covers will be a possibility but i think the only wy will be through trial and error, to ensure the glue doesnt lift the material with the heat etc, a member has PM'd me whos only 20 miles away so if ican get hold of a spare cover he can be the tester for me lol.

These are my engine covers for sale , the foam has been scratched slightly by my kitten , there are no turn locks or dizzy clips (or rubber seal) but other wise are in excellent condition ...
Duncan had my outer cover made and whatever glue they used is awesome , it has not budged or bubbled and is in the car permenantly and very hot ! Send me a PM if interested , I'm looking for £100 for them both plus £25 p+p
