A broken phase 1 silver (the best)

Oh no..... not another. Hope the occupant faired better than the poor car.

On the flip side.. good to know you're still about Jamie! :approve:

Oh no!!! Sad to hear!! Hope all involved are ok.

I saw a post on Pistonheads earlier asking if anyone was breaking a phase one as they were after front end parts - but its since been removed. Wonder if its related.

Still kicking around, having fun on the water but may still get back to the v6 scene one day. Hope all is good with you and the other v6 originals!

Took my vee out yesterday and got caught in a full on down pour (only had the car 6weeks and first time I had driven it in the rain) spun off a round about, missing a tree by inches!! Lesson well and truly learnt!

Oh man... that sucks. Sorry to hear this Bobby. Is there much damage?

Yes i was very lucky, so sad to hear of vee damaged like that. As long as driver and passenger were ok that's main thing i guess.

In the vee the dry and wet conditions are just complete opposites. I just dont take any risks in the wet. Been having to use my vee last couple of weeks and I dont care if I am doing 50 or less in the rain if you unbalance the vee in the wet you will have no chance of recovering it. Aquaplanning is another issue with the volume of rain that has come down at times lately. In the dry the world's your oyster!! And thats the thing you just caught out as you don't expect it and it's so quick. Just glad you got thru unscathed. By all means drive in the wet if you have to just be very gentle. We all own a very special car so everybody look after your vees and yourselves. With Origine RS next year be good to see as many vees as possible there.

Oh no! I met Dave a while back as he brought some ph1 rear lights off me. Cant of been long on the road since his build finished.

Poor chap. Any news if hes ok James?

Saw it on the M3 earlier today. Looked sorry, but looked fixable!

Duncan, are you some sort of private investigator or something??! You being the biggest bofin on here with all things vee related, how did you randomly turn up behind a known one and its story?? You never end to amaze me! Lol

lol!! A keen eye and being in the right place at the right time guess. If only being a private investigator for v6's was a paying career!!!
