3.5 Litre V6.....

i read somewhere on the forum there is a company in france that will bore out the standard engine to 3.5 i think it was somewhat expensive tho

Huger? Any links? What does boring out the standard unit to 3.5l give in power and torque terms? Is it worth it for the cost?

moteur huger

I must have written this a million times this year - 100bhp per litre is very good

so 3.5 x 100 equals 350bhp in strong road trim no TB's

If 350 bhp which would cost about £12k with electronics is good value to you then yes

f**k off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't take it any more - goodbye cruel world

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - thud!

Thanks for the link but nothing of any use on there it would seem.....in fact absolutley nothing to do with Huger.....

Just find yourself an old 3 litre F1 V10. Should be good for at least 800bhp. I believe Renault used to make them.

Didn't these need fairly regular servicing though Gordon?
Don't go putting ideas in Mike's head. Scott has just put the old engine back in!!

Well, they should be good for at least 2000km, between services. Maybe more if you keep the revs below 19500. They probably weigh a lot less than the scabby old Laguna V6 fitted to 'our' cars!

Okay Gordon, I'm definitely interested but if I recall the exhaust is a tad on the loud side.......I'm just a bit worried about the neighbours' reaction........

Look again Tim, click on the links around the dial.

The link does not direct you to Hugers site....instead some other non descript site with a women with headphones in the top right hand corner....
