21 Turbo 21 Turbo welding required

I recently purchased a late 21 Turbo with the intention of using it as a competition car next year. Unfortunately once I've started stripping it to weld the sills its become apparent that the rust is much worse than I had anticipated. My welder reckons a solid weeks work to do inner and outer sills and front floorpan both sides and the 2 front turrets at a cost of £700-£900. He also doesn't seem very keen to do it, never having done one before. Anybody in the club handy with a welder who might be able to lend a hand. I can't really justify spending that amount but happy to pay maybe £500 quid and lend a hand where I can. Otherwise I'll look to sell or possibly break it which would be a shame as besides the welding it only really needs the brakes sorting. Are the parts readily available?

Front turrets are probably best to get from a breaker. Try Ollie from Bournemouth he should be able to supply these.

Genuine Turbo sills are only available from Renault but they are expensive, They come with the lower part of the B & C pillars.

Body repair like this is such a ballache, you do get what you pay for...I dont think there is a cheap, good job. Everywhere thats decent is top dollar.

That's a good price as its a lot work and you will be hard pressed to do all that work mention above in a week I done a quadra back in August made my own inner and out sills and jacking points took over six days to do that much, the hardest part is cutting all the rust out so you got good starting point to weld to, here's a few pics what I did
