Caption codes:

- MV: Metallized varnished, Supergloss Lacquer with spangles
- TE: Colour for purpose, Metallic illusion

- metallized: composed of colour + monochromic aluminium spangles. Shine thanks to the spangles (if one puts spangles in blue, Ca will make “blue shining” with the sun, and simply “blue” in the shade).

Anybody seen either of the bottom two ?

The Nocturne picture is actually Moonlight Blue TE I49. No MK 2 v6 was ever made in Nocturne.

I bow to your knowledge about Clio V6's

Is the TE D61 in the UK, have you seen it in the flesh.
Does the colour suit the car ?

No the TE D61 car has only been in France.

The colour is used on Meganes and Lugunas etc here in UK and it suits them well.

Nocturne wrong car but it shows the colour well

so I am down to a choice of 2, leaning towards the Grey as is not as extreme as Nocturne.

Gris Technical or Technical Gray , TE D61 paint code, is what the french call it.

Hi James, unfortunately this picture might be the Nocturne, a member who works at RST confirmed us that it used to be one Nocturne at the time of this picture was taken.... it was a prototype and it has never been sold

But I agree with you the Moonlight Blue is very near of The Nocturne Black :approve:

The colour i would love to see on a Vee is the Petrol Blue ( Vert Orion for us) [smilie=yay.gif]

Well, that a good question as I cant see rusty metal so its turning into a restoration as well as a rebuild, engine's coming out now as well for belts.

shell will need a full strip down for colour change too.

repainting all the supension and brakes, discs skimmed 10 thou, new pads all round, etc, so its further away than ever, but if I keep on it i am hoping 2-3 months, but we will have to see.
