I have looked at another vee and it has two normal keys like I have had with every other clio I have owned, but it also has two extra fobs without the key blade?? Is this normal? I was told it was normal for a vee from the owner but I have not heard of it before??

cheers

What James said. Mk1 is a key, and a fob (and a spare key and fob) - two seperate bits as the alarm wasn't fitted at the factory. Imports may be different because they may well not have an alarm at all.

That makes me feel a bit better then. Can I not just put a key blade into the second fob? or is one to turn the alarm off and the other to open it? Im confused lol

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but saved starting a new one.

Can the Key blade be taken out and fitted directly in to the alarm fob?

Ivan

I beleive not. One fob is for the alarm, the other immobiliser. I believe the alarm is clio the immobiliser laguna and are two separate systems
