19 Digi Dash Info Thread

I've had 4.7 mpg on mine

they are shorts.

so you gonna change the thingy to the KM marker or are you wanting me to do it?

do we all have baited breath?

i won't reveal anything until we are all excited with anticipation!

changed over

50 degrees c - thats about right for 122 deg Fahrenheit

70 litres, seems about right for 15.6 gallons or whatever Chet said

there seems to be an extra screen though...

www.renault_turbo.com_chris_random_20car_20pics_trip_20comp_20test_2006.webp

which goes to this, current mpg? or litre per km

www.renault_turbo.com_chris_random_20car_20pics_trip_20comp_20test_2007.webp

so seems we change to metric, but stuck with the miles, gallons and Fahrenheit symbols

also the light pins 8 and 9 i think you have them the wrong way round.

i can only get lights on pin 9

Good work. From what i remember the manula always said there was an instantaneous mpg reading on the trip computer but i never seen it, this may explain why

Light pins, i can't figure them out. Infact mine turns on with only the battery power (no ignition)

Also, rather interestingly, the fuel gauge goes down depending on the speed/fuel flow. The sender gives the initial reading but thats it. That explains why you shouldn't fill up with the engine running and why i couldn't get mine to update

I think perhaps I should road test this.

The chammy is still being used so can pop it in there for testing purposes.

in the car the light comes on with the accessory position (1st click) you can only see the digits at the 2nd click (ignition on)

I'm struggling here as I'm trying to hold a bunch of wires on pins and onto a battery myself.

Actually yeah, the pins are wrong.

I had an arseache getting wires attached and i'm using all 15 :/

I'm still not sure what the fuel low level pin does

Yeah and 7.1mpg, just gone down under 1 gallon now

The way i'm running it its pulsing the fuel and speed every millisecond for a millisecond. Getting the speeds to pulse independantly takes a bit more complicated coding and i couldn't be arsed
