Have a phase 1 that I want to get 18” alloys for. Looking at aftermarket set but wanted to know the offset and size needed to perfectly fill the arches etc.
Do the 18 fit the phase 1 without any need for spacers?
The ph2 18s foul the rear suspension, so need spacers. fronts go on nicely and fill the arches perfectly.
I don't believe there are any after market wheels currently on the market which fit without spacers. K-tec used to sell compmotives which did fit, but they havent been in stock for well over 5 years.
I've attached a useful document with all the off set details you could ever need.
The wheel offsets are horrific when you go aftermarket, I looked into it quite a lot last year and basically nothing off the shelf gets anywhere near without having huge spacers at the front. 45mm offsets for the back just about work which is effectively 20mm spaced which looks OK, but you'd need to space the fronts a massive 40mm
I did find somewhere that would make me any set in their range with custom offsets for £2900/set, but in the end i've settled with a set of Cromodora and a set of Ph2 18's.
I fitted a set of Ph2 18's, 20mm spacer needed to the rear for clearance, fronts fitted ok without however, I like the look of the wheels sitting as far to the outside as possible so put a 15mm spacer on the fronts.
The Cromodoras need no spacers yet ended up fitting 15mm spacers to the fronts again.
