137k miles clio v6 for sale on eBay from SG

[v6plaque]110[/v6plaque] its HPI clear. 3 former keepers (2 prior to SG) last owned from 13/06/2005 and did the majority of the miles (at least 100k of them).

I've saw it at Scott's quite a few times. "may the blind man win." Hes not exaggerating, it was in a right state. Would be a pretty big project, but would be great to see it back to former glory.

looking at it in the pics it doesn't look too bad or am I missing something. obviously needs a full respray. interior look half decent. is it a different story underneath ??

When I spoke to Scott about the car last week says the last owner bought it for £19,000 back in 2005!
Just amazed that the chap has disappeared leaving his car behind! Hopefully the last owner is still ok..

It's pushing £10k now with nearly 6 days still to go. It does look very rough close up, outside, inside and underneath. It would be a great project, maybe not back to original specification though. That would cost a lot!

Saw this at SG Motorsport yesterday. Definitely a project but looks like everything's there for a restoration.

Few things missing inc storage tray under bonnet.

Good thing the engine has been swapped out - during a visit to Scott's, I did see the insides of the original engine, complete with the snapped camshaft. Looked as if someone had emptied a gallon of tar and left it to congeal! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

If the engine was in that state, one can imagine how the rest of the Vee is like..........

Currently at 9k!
Crazy to think you could get a mint ph1 for that sort of money a few years back.

If it goes around £10k surely there's a risk of it being broken for bits/profit?

What do we think one would fetch in parts?

Probably would with todays lack of new bits from Renault be a fair bet but would take a while to recover, also at 137k there would be some issues with most of it being pretty clapped out so caveat emptor :approve:
