1.9 diesel b/e onto a willy head

Been told it may be possible so wondered why its not done more often if it is? Would there be much less power than a williams and any more than a valver?
Could be a possible alternative...

No thats just wouldnt work lol.

I think you / your mate is confused, the Crankshaft from teh diesel block has the same critical dimensions of that from a Williams block, so they can be used. The diesel crank is fillet roll constructed i believe aswell, giving you a weight saving.

you can use the crankshaft from an 1,9 litre diesel engine. it was done in romania on an f7p engine with clio rs 172 pistons.

yea i really wouldn't be in to much of a hurry to use 1.9 diesel pisto
ns in a petrol conversion lol

Cranks do fit if i remember right, block is nooo way tho! You couldnt use the diesel crank on an 1.8 build as the thing wouldnt turn over as the 16v piston heights are higher
