Clio 1.5dci dpf fault

Can anyone shed some light on a fault code P242f on my sons Clio 1.5dci gordini.
Over the last few months we have had a reacurring code and fault on the dash. “Injection fault” which when read gives us fault code P242F- diesel partical filter.
Spent yesterday removing the DPF after various so called treatments and carbon clean for it to return..
EGR valve cleaned out and a full service carried out.
Any guidance appreciated.

If the code denotes DPF blocked, the first question I would ask from a customer is "How is the car used"?
Alot of short low speed driving will clog the filter very quickly, the same if the driving style is erratic.
I'll have a look to see if the P code directly corresponds to a Renault DF code as the list of possible causes and checks is dependent on actual phrase used in the description.

I've had a quick look and the P code doesn't directly correspond to any Renault codes. As for fault finding it depends on software version and engine specification, but basic checks that seem common between variants are, EGR circuit both electronically and mechanical, Air intake system including turbo, fifth injector & control system, exhaust temp sensors and DPF pressure sensors.
Not much help and unfortunately most of the other checks are data & status directed and may need a dealer level diagnostic equipment for anyone to see the numbers.

Thanks for the feedback, dreaded main dealer by the sounds of things then!

Not necessarily, a good independent who knows how the system works and has invested in equipment and training should do.
Who ever you choose please allow them a suitable time to diagnose the problem after the initial assessment
