35k, strong money, that! Is this [v6plaque]217[/v6plaque] ? No mention of the plaque number in tadvert. [v6plaque]217[/v6plaque] is recorded as a cat D in the forum register.

Also looks to be 3 years overdue for the cambelt! That can't be safe, can it?

Service history (belts) would give you £1200 leverage plus Cat D stigma should equate to at least 10% but in reality 30% devaluation against a perfect car which would be about right at £35K if it was, mid twenties would be nearer the mark for this particular one. Belts are only a problem when they break, and many that are around for sale are actually older than the ones being taken off!!

It's cat D; Run the reg through autotrader as though you were selling the car, it automatically flags cat C and D cars to inform potential buyers.
I contacted the owner to ask about the circumstances of the write off and what parts were replaced, but was duly ignored.
