Can anyone help? I need a new sump pan for my 1982 atmo as I have to renew the sump gasket and I don't think the pan i've got will survive the experience! I've tried the usual Renault contacts and it is a part that is no longer made apparently.
hey,
just wondered what tool you need it looks like it could be a torx bit or something similar.
just wanted to check what size etc before i bought a tool.
cheers
What tool am I going to need to drop my oil? I've not done it yet (just hit 6000 miles) and want to make sure I have the tools before I start the job!! I'm guessing an 8mm square socket? But I know what Renaults are like for going with the norm?
Up for sale is a new baffled sump for a ph1 block, it has been bolted to an engine thats sat on the floor but its never had any oil in it yet so is still new.
I got this for an engine I'm building for someone, but due to finding a mint ph2 engine its now not needed. Looking for £150

Hi,
I want to use aftermarket oil pressure dials and sensor, dont want to do it through a sandwhich plate as theres not enough room, want to tap into the thread used bu the old oil pressure sensor, any ideas what it is?
Sump plug thread please, as i think thats a good place for the temperature...
Lucky old me can get this done at work. what the best place for a fillet weld on the crack inside or out.?
I.e mucky alloy. as getting al the oil off will be a pain as it stain's. but need to be uber clean to weld.
Is the sump cover on a ph3 (dizzyless engine) the same as the rest of the 21t range or is it different ?? ......
Im gonna need to replace mine me thinks .... :(

what tool do you use to get the sump plug off? i just had a quick look and i thought it would be a bolt but its not lol looks like the end of a socket would fit?
help please :D :D
What bloody size is it?
One I got is 11mm iirc and is too large, I'm away to file down a large allen key to try that.. really need the oil out today and can see pulling the sump off being the messy option.
