Managed to sort my ignition cutting out fault, by repklacing the tdc sensor. But now it's still cutting out but with a different problem. the ignition is fine. But the fuel pump had started to struggle to deliver fuel to the carb, so stripped a spare pump and cleaned it out and fitted that, and...

Curious is this the fuel pump from the 16v? I don't know if they differ (flow rates/connections, etc) ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP RENAULT 19 CLIO EXTRA RAPID 31502 on eBay (end time 30-Mar-10 20:37:41 BST) If so it's mine :)

do the 19's follow same track as clio as in phase 1 has in tank pump seperate from sender so have to drop tank and the phase 2 has an all in one unit under the rear seat cover? any advice much appreciated cheers Ben

bluey ph1 chammy has a fuel pump that is whinning its tits off,i thought it was located in the tank,under boot carpet(black rubber bung) went to gsf,they said its out of tank,i looked underneath the car but could not find it, any help/advice much appreciated,cheers

Right to get round the wiring loom problem what you need to do is locate the fuel pump relay under the bonnet it the relay box. You can locate this by getting someone to switch ignition on and of and work out which one is click on and then off after about 5-7 seconds. Once you have worked out...
