abs

Anyone thinking of installing ABS into their r19? Well here's what it involves: There's a pedal somewhere too. And yes, it weighs an absolute ton and it's filled a whole black rubbish bag. Oh, and it might catch fire like this little lot did :D

My ABS dash warning light comes on randomly when driving aroung but never stays on for long. Car just passed an MOT luckily didnt come on during the test. any ideas? It doesnt just happen when i brake but randomly all the time.

Decided to remove the ABS on my car, I've changed the master cylinder to a non-ABS one, re-done all of the lines, removed the ABS unit, rings etc etc... however one thing I haven't changed is the bias valve/unit box on the rear, does anybody know if they are the same on ABS and non-ABS cars...

Hello, Recently bought a valver, the ABS light is on, and i dont know how to fault find. I can only assume its one of the 4 sensors. i have wire brushed all the rings, and still the light. Fuse is fine. Do you have any ideas that may help? Andy

Hello. Why abs bads have two holes, does it really matters anything, because i bought Ferodo DS bads who dont have holes.

If the ABS is suspecting to be causing braking anomalies I've been told pulling the fuse to it should show up whether it's at fault or not (anomalies will disappear) Can anyone confirm or deny this... or more to the point entertain me about the potential dangers resulting from driving a car...
