I've just got a set as well, just waiting for the engine and Mk2 gearbox to be fitted then put these on as well.

Tim / Peter I guess you used Scott to set this up i.e. tracking / camber? I got a sheet from him for setup so thats what I will be using.

Also interested how much of a difference they make i.e. cornering only, in the wet, all driving conditions?

Do they make a BIG difference with the handling. any suggestions wheres the best place to buy? think the cheapest ive found after a quick look is £1200 from Yozzasport.

I've heard nothing but good things for them, from Tim and Peter.

Plus also a local owner in Hong Kong has put them on 2 cars he has owned here and said they totally change the cars handling. Am sure Tim and Peter can elaborate.

Cheapest I got them was from Scott at about 1150 I think. But was also advised to buy replacement front top mounts and other bits as well so totalled about 1350 in total.

I've heard about those that it's useful if you plan to track your car otherwise it's better to keep the originals...

Apparently, they won't go over 20000/30000kms if you drive on bumpy (correct?) roads.

If you ask Max who is currently wiringhis car in the special project cars section if hes not too busy i think he metioned on a previous thread about this as hes got further more "advanced" parts for his or was lokking into it at least....

I don't have access to the special project cars section...

They're made to a much better quality than the OEM parts; the level of corrosion on mine, for example, after 4 years on sitting on the car is very, very low. Worth checking out the official line from KW where they talk about the Inox system.

Having said that it's worth remembering that KW make V1 -> V3 which are road/track day parts and they also make a full race spec range of shocks which use rose joints etc and these will only last a relatively short period of time if driven on anything other than a flat race track.

The other point worth bearing in mind is that the KWs are user adjustable for rebound and bump - if you decide to set them up stiffly you will introduce more mechanical stress/wear into the parts and you MAY (i.e. not definitely) shorten their lifetime slightly.

Spare parts for them are readily available from the UK importer K300 who carry some stock or source directly from Germany.

I'm not sure to understand : V1 are for road use and V3 for track?
I think the V3 is the only version available for the Clio V6, true?

Just got mine fitted

Initial thoughts - amazed by the difference - car feels more planted plus feedback through steering / seat of the pants is better as well.

Highly recommended!

:)
