williams re-build, got a few bits left over!!!!

Afternoon all,

Just re-built the engine for our Clio Williams track slag project and as with any good project I have a couple of bits left over.

Picture 1 is of an engine brace type thing, I remember needing to take this off to get the engine out but can’t for the life of me remember where it came from or spot any obvious home for it.

Picture 2 is of quite a chunky plate/bracket.

Hopefully someone will be able to offer a home/function for these items, and with any luck I won’t need to take the engine out to re-install them.

Cheers

Rob

the second pic is off the end of the intake manifold where the belts are, it bolts onto the throttle body and also the alternator bolt goes through it, its a support for the alternator so can't see how you've missed it tbh

the first one is a new one on me, the only place i can assume is that it bolts from teh block to the exhaust manifold (i don't have one due to me having a 4 -2 -1 manifold, but thats an educated guess mind but the first one deffo bolts onto the intake manifold

no, thats the plumbed in fire system.

its got loads of trick bits,
Kent Cams and vernier pulleys
Race ECU
Induction kit
foam filled internal fuel cell
Gaz coilovers all round
Hi Spec big brake kit
Perspex windows
Full cage
Toyo r888 and a set of wets
Etc etc

The plan is to hit the track days pretty hard next year and maybe get a couple of ring trips in.
:)
