which head

Whilst the clio is being rebuilt over winter I'm toying with the idea hybridising! If i was a get a f7r bottom end could I use my f7p head? What sort of difference in power would I expect over an f7r head?

Am I right in thinking that I will also need to change the ecu for a williams one?

i think there are running issues doing that mate, im not 100% sure but this is waht i wanted to do and its a pain in the arse to get the fueling rite iirc

I have an F7R with F7P head and when i use my valver ECU its noticeably more powerful but recently has been blowing my fuel pump fuses like theres no tomorrow. So using my williams ECU and its fine but less pwerful as its overfueling badly

Gazz, mines on a valver head, Ported albeit, no running issues at all, runs sweet you saw it for yourself at Eurofest, even if we were all tip toeing around the track!

Did you? I must have been asleep!!

So I shouldnt have any probs with my valver ecu, but I may have to switch to a williams one if I start getting problems.

best of getting a remap...but you shouldnt have any running issues with either ecu. it just wont be ideally calibrated for best power.
