where to get insurance for a 23 year old

in a month or two im buying a v6 255 but the cheapest qoute ive had is 1700 with 3 years ncb and my mum as a named driver, is that right?
if it is that will put me off big time, im 23 and have a company car 3years ncb and clean licence, the max i want to pay is upto 1200,
where the best place for a quote ive used all the compare sites

Thats pretty good for a 22yr old, i was more than that when i was 22. Circa £1200.

Been with elephant for 4 years or so don't know if that makes a difference in the quotes, I wouldn't have thought so though to be honest.

Do you mean that you've bought a Vee?

I'd suggest you try all the comparison sites (meerkat/confuse/moneysupermarket and go compare).
Play with different 'excesses' and different expected annual milage (but don't say 3k and then do 12k as that can open a whole can of worms).

Mine is on an admiral multicar policy, but I'm quite a few years older than you (more than 3 but less than 30)!

yep picked the mk2 v6 illiad blue up today! i went with elephant in the end for £145 a month, admiral was another cheap quote of £151 a month but also they were going to install a "black box" in my car to record my mileage, so said no.
with elephant, i have my mum as a named driver, and i drive a company car, and driving less then 5000 miles a year.
