Wheel nuts...

Dan

Member
Are the wheel nuts for the Vee just standard Renault 'Alloy Wheels' wheel nuts? I've noticed a couple of mine have gone a bit rusty on top and been really vain, I think I might have to replace them :) Or can I get covers for them perhaps?

I remember my old 206 had little plastic caps over the wheel nuts... not unlike these -

I can't remember how big my nuts (ho ho ho) are and it's raining outside - are they indeed 19mm?

Cheers

Dan

Sorry to bring this ridiculously old post back up from the bottom of the pile, but I guess thats what the search function is for..

But does anyone have an answer to this question above?

Mine have started to look a little off color, and its bugging me.

Thanks,
Rob

The nuts do tend to become dull over time, even sooner if you use harsh cleaning products (never again). Nut covers in various finishes can be found in most accessory shops, and Ebay etc

I suppose the question to all Vee owners is How nice are your Nuts? ;)

Cool! Thanks for the advice!
Ill do some deeper research into it, and see what I can come up with (New nuts, and something to prevent rust and discolour)

Lol - Well I think I have just put myself in the pathetic nuts category :o(

To be really included in the pathetic nuts category you have to remove them one at a time ,add metal polish ( i find solvol autosol works good ) and a Dremmel and polish away :(
