What have you done to your Retro Renault today?

Did some more sanding and priming in the Fuego engine bay. Very very very very slowly getting there.

Have found that Wossner do pistons for the A5L so will get some at some stage/over summer. But the NZ company that has them here are useless and never get back to me when I enquire, so probably just get them off Ebay.

Yeah Lincoon, go the E bay way, just got a r/hand front ball joint from UK, $30 to my door, took a week, last one cost me $70 4 years ago and had to go to Glenfeild to pick it up. Got a new WOF for both the R19's now, good for another 6 months. yippie.

Sealed up the leaking manifold to downpipe joint on the supervan. Now i have to seal up the 2cm slit above my eye where the bastardin yolk fell on me.not happy

Swapped over the heater fan in the supervan cos it wouldnt work on full.turned out it wasnt at fault, it was the control in the dash.started stripping down the ph1.goin to drop down the sub-frame and engine/box in one go.

Front wheel bearings and o/s trackrod fitted Ahhh ! silence. Bearing went from fine to howling in days,so think it was an orig ! Can floor it again joy Sc

My red hatch sometimes wouldn't start, had to push start it, decided to get new battery as mine was 7years and 1 month old (a good run) new battery and same thing happened next morning.
Resurected my spare reconditioned starter motor from spare engine and stuck it in, (not an easy task on your own) up there with the rear engine mount, anyway installed starter and good as new again.

its about 5 litres on all 19's. theres no eperate tank or anything.

I drove 9 miles into the light yesterday, not done that for ages. I was late for a customer at the garage.

Today I got a lower tie rod poly bushes for the S60.

We found her laguna key so that can be used again.

Dunno but Elizabeth had tidied it apparently. Damn 6 year olds!

In other news I fitted a poly bushed lower tie bar to the S60 so its now got a total of 5 poly bushes on it.

I also washed the RX8

not driven it aside from drifting it about the yard.

It needs tyres etc.

Plan is to get it stickered up for the business.

Thing is we have 3 cars on the road can't justify another 300 in tax then enjoying 12mpg in it really.
