What have you done to your Retro Renault today?

19 16v now sorned for the summer and Avi re instated and went to the Grampian Motor museum club day.....good turn out and bril selection of cars but only two Renaults...both Avis v disappointing Sc

had to replace a rear light on the diesel cham after i braked a bit sudden and the garden shed on the trailer i was towing, slid forward and hit the light.

hoovered all the mold bloom off the upholstery of the chamade.

loaded the content of the garage in to cherrybomb so the roof can get replaced (on the garage) Car is like the tardis! The weight has floored the rear on it though.

1 x 19 16v tax n mot n insured. Gearbox changed n sills replaced. Off on friday to get backbox changed then. Over to a spray shop to see a quote on few minor body panels.. hoping phase 1 of project be done by 1st week of aug nearly. ?. Phase 2 be exchange engine spring time

you holding onto cherry bomb Jr

a decision needs to be reached long term about what to do, wanted to keep it and have a trailer behind the chamade for it but if i have to cut the bumper to fit a bar that is a not an option. Moving cherry around off road reminded me of the fun i had when she was legal, MOT needs booking.

No ,2 chamades and a supervan. are the ph1 bumpers deeper as in the height top to bottom? the tow bar on my 16v cham sticks out about an inch or so more than the other 2 car.maybe its off a ph1 hatch.also a hatch towbar will fit a cham but not the other way around

I finally started the body work on the PH1 today, lots of small dings, surface rust etc, the most noticeable change is the removal and smoothing of the original antenna, being replaced with an electronic rear qtr panel one (inspired by the Merc 190)

Went to change the nearside dipped beam bulb only to find out i don't have one & the nearest Halfords is a 30 miles round trip........sod it....i'll do it another time.......

found a towbar to go on the cabby, rustproofed and painted, new chrome ball for it to. I will fit it when I have time.
Not really for looks or use, but more as a "less body damage" item if I get rear ended.
