New brakes, battery housing sorted out, handbrake adjusted, spare wheel acquired, new speakers collected, earthing doubled up as described in chris' tech article. thats about it for my days work on the bishop, also pleased to report shes incredibly rust free on the underside.
she's running a little rough though, going to try a new set of plugs i think, after that ill try other things, maybe sensor related either, any ideas?
Replaced rear door handle
Repaired the central locking (one of which already broke again moments after refitting door card)
Replaced the front speakers and tweeters with better ones (want 6x9 in the back but have to figure out a way to do this that doesnt effect the look at all
Rewired all speakers through an amp for a little more pep
Set up wiring for a second amp for a boom box, not convinced i want it though
Sat on my own in a warehouse on a car seat and cried for a while
Removed more wiring from the old alarm, replaced fascia holder panel
Replaced rubber surround on rear lights, was leaky central
More painting on R11 alloys for the 19
Adjusted wiper arms cos they were ridiculous
Found jack & wheel brace, bunged it in, jack in its saucy sleeve too
Finally got round to replacing the rear legs on the 16 valve clio also trial fitted the cage from the clio i rolled into the 16 valve surprised it fits (not bent) and i can still keep the rear seats.
After 13 hours continuous work
1. Swapped the knocking F7R block with another one after rebuilt it on my R9.
2.Installing oil filter sandwich with D1 spec oil cooler.
3.Installing oil temp and oil Pressure sender and guages.
4.Install another performance chip for the F7R williams rev 7200 RPM instead of the old F7P performance chip rev 8000 RPM
its fucking baltic down here too, i had so many outdoor related plans, all i got done was in the sheltered car park of tesco, stuck the exhaust back box on
Theres still ice on the ground here from days ago, I need to change the box in the chamade. Its too cold in my old age/totally buggered condition to be rolling about on ice.
This weekend will be 6 weeks for me having no road worthy car. It sucks balls. Driving her laguna is no substitute.
