So arrived in Berlin earlier on this afternoon. 132 performed superbly cruising through France, Belgium and Holland at 80mph and once we dropped over the Dutch border into Germany at Venlo, up to 130 on the initial non limited bit which lasts about 5 minutes. Then cruised all the way down the A2 at between 90 and 110mph with everyone else, plus a few spurts at a little over 130 when it was safe and allowed.
Absolutely no issues whatsoever apart from something strange with the clutch.
Noticed that when you are pressing on hard sometimes, when you put your foot on the clutch to change down a gear when slowing down, the pedal dropped almost to the floor. There was just a little bit down there, enough to change gear, and as soon as you did change gear, the clutch pedal would be fully operating again, immediately.
The other thing you can do, is if you monitor the pedal when you're driving to make sure it's got resistance, if it drops almost to the floor like I described, pumping the pedal twice makes the pedal work properly again.
Similarly turning the engine off and back on again makes the pedal function normally again.
Is there some sort of fail-safe if things get too hot?
Or anyone know why it's doing this?
As i said, it only does this when you are really driving hard and fast for periods of time (100mph or over). You just notice it gradually losing resistance. Pump the pedal and it comes back.
Also, I noticed that when I go from first to second when pulling off, if I slip the clutch slightly you get a kind screechy/scrape noise. Any ideas anyone?
Cheers!
