Wee Family Day Out!

Not the greatest shots in the world, but a cracking day out all the same.

Fell in love with the car again, after 18 months idle it didn't miss a beat, and against the wee Lotus and VX it was great fun! Still got the cage to fit, when i eventually get all the right bits from Safety Devices!!

Just sorting my photo's out from my return trip from Scotland - i can't get over how stunning the place is!!!! Just when you think it cant get any better something around the corner has you in awe :bow:

Brilliant pics! The Vee is easily the nicest car there :approve: glad you've fell back in love with it, rightly so too ;)
 
You are so lucky up there!! Just cant beat the scenery up there. Where you went seems a fair distance from Aberdeen. How did you know about those locations?

I'm from this neck of the woods originally Nas. I moved to Aberdeen 8yrs ago. There are not many roads on the west coast i haven't been down in anger! ;) The folks are also car daft as such have found some cracking wee places for food and walks!

We'll eventually get round to a Scotland run! - And it won't be a disappointment!

Been looking at vx220's recently on pistonheads, cheap as chips for mega performance.

Indeed! BUT it's not alot faster than the V6 once rolling!! Like, barely! Around the bends and on boost it's cracking!

Ah that will explain it. I cant wait for a Scottish run I know from tour last year how good the roads are and the amazing scenery but your local knowledge will be invaluable for a Scottish tour. I am salivating over good places to eat and great drives to these places.
