Washer Bottle

Thanks James. I have a leak from the drivers side headlight squirter, was just wandering if it was a separate bottle I would just let it run out! Any ideas what the problem / cure might be?
Thanks,
Steve.

No to the bumper off! but I think you have to take the headlight out on the offending side ( just had mine replaced when I got my 5 year service done the part is £14 I think)

Not a headlight off job and definetly not a bumper off job.

All you need to do is take the front arch guard out and the bottom d panel - access is quite tight but possible :approve:

Failed washer jets is a very common problem on the mark 2 clio's.

Agree with mossy :approve:
Done both of mine, never needed to take arch cover out fully just front fixing bolts.
Think its the forst that kills the seals. My drivers side weeping again :(

James, easier to remove wheel and bottom front clips and bolts from inner arch liner. Then you can get up to the nylon nut without too much of a problem ;)

Thanks mate. That's next on the to do list. Spent the last two days sorting out all the niggly problems like my aerial not working and a blocked windscreen jet. I can here the pump running for the headlight washers but no spray. I'll do one and test it. I've read that the pumps can be prone to blockage due to the rubber seal absorbing water. We shall see which it is.

James

James, you have got the headlights on when you tested the washers? Sure they only squirt when main beam is on ;-)
